Each Tuesday at 9 AM Pastor Christie Love holds space outside at the peace pole in front of our building to pray for peace in the midst of wars, conflicts, violence, and harms happening to marginalized individuals. All are welcome to join in this time of prayer each week. 

Each Wednesday in July, the Yakima Community Band hosts an outdoor concert in our back lawn for everyone in the community to enjoy for free. Bring a lawn chair and join us for an hour of great music from your neighbors! 

Englewood hosts NAMI’s local FaithNet meeting each month. This is a meeting that explores the intersection of faith and mental health in our community, seeks to build partnerships, share resources, and develop collaboration. Bring your favorite main dish, side dish, or dessert and plan to stay after our weekly worship service for a picnic potluck in the grassy area by the playground behind the church. This is a great time of friendship, food, and connections!

The goal of this group is to provide support and cultivate an empathic and understanding environment focused on healing. Anyone in the Yakima Valley who has been harmed by faith-based systems, relationships, teachings, or experiences is welcome to join us.

We are going to be working on several indoor and outdoor projects this day. Including; cleaning out some rooms, organizing some areas, and more. RSVP that you plan to come help by emailing Christie Love.

This meeting will take place immediately following our weekly worship service. We will be voting to approve our proposed Welcome Statement as the official welcome statement for our faith community. We will also be sharing some building updates.
