Job Title: Youth and Young Families Program Director (PT)

Job Summary: 

The Youth and Young Families Coordinator will work part-time to help create connection opportunities for kids, youth, and their families at Englewood and our faith community. You will work closely with our Senior Pastor to plan events, organize volunteers, and develop programming. 

Responsibilities

  • Creating a monthly Kids Connection serving schedule and working to support leaders with lesson ideas, activities, supplies, etc. 

  • Training and developing Kids Connection leaders

  • Helping to plan worship elements that are inclusive of kids, teens, and young families.

  • Organizing and attending quarterly community service events for Englewood

  • Attending Ministry Council Meetings

  • Organizing and attending quarterly young family events for ECC families. 

  • Creating a monthly bulletin board in the hallway for Youth/Young Families events

  • Being a part of a collaborative staff that works together regularly on church-wide projects, events, and outreach efforts. 

  • Leading a Connection Group for ECC families. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 

  • Ministry experience preferred 

  • Able to support our Wide Welcome culture at Englewood. 

  • Ability to work well individually and with a team

  • Strong communication skills

  • Comfortable with technology

  • Creative and Innovative personality that likes creating change

  • Strong planning and organizing skills

  • Experience working with children (education/ministry experience preferred)

  • Passionate about community involvement and making a difference in our community. (Community organizing experience preferred)

Benefits

  • This position is currently a part-time position at 25 hours a week with PTO but no benefits at this time. However, there is growth potential for this position as the church continues to grow. 

  • $22.50 an hour pay rate. 

  • Flexible schedule with options to combine work at home and on-site.
