This week’s announcements:
You can still bring coats for Garfield Elementary. So far, we have collected 30 coats. Our goal was 40 so we are hoping to gather at least 10 more before we take them and deliver them in October.
Next Wednesday 10-2 the office will be closed all day as our staff will be having an all-day planning retreat. Please plan around this day if you need to drop anything off. You can contact staff by email that day.
Next week is the first Sunday of the month:
We will have First Sunday potluck following service.
Due to a scheduling issue with one of the performers, it will also be the Second Sunday Concert series at 2 PM.
Our staff has been working to build a new Englewood website for the last month, and it is finally live! You can check it out at www.englewoodchristianchurch.com One of the exciting features is that it has a language button at the top, so the site is available in both English and Spanish. This afternoon Pastor Christie will be sending out an email with a link to a short video that will give a tour of the new website, and it’s features so look for that!
On the new website, you can click on Online Sign ups and sign up to help with our Historic Halloween event that is coming up on October 31st. We need help setting up the night before, being here during the event, and helping to tear down the following day. You can also sign up by talking to or emailing Carolyn.
